PSSR - Are you compliant?

Failure of a pressurised system can lead to serious injury and/or damage to property. To protect users of compressed air, PSSR 2000 requires compressed air systems operating at 250 bar litres or higher, to have a Written Scheme of Examination in place.

WSE Inspections

A WSE is a report that details safety devices and components associated with a system’s pressure vessels, identifies any necessary modifications and required inspection intervals.

Inspections must be carried out and certified by a Competent Person.

Your Responsibilities

Issues with a compressed air system can lead to serious or even fatal injury and can cause extensive damage to property.

But as well as the safety implications of not having a WSE in place, non-compliance with PSSR is a criminal offence and can result in prosecution and unlimited fines.
