BCAS' Reverse Advent calendar

December’s nearly here so once again BCAS will be collecting food and toiletries for Wallingford Food Bank.

Set up in 2011, Wallingford Food Bank is part of a national network of organisations that provide emergency food packages to those in need in their local communities.

Run from Ridgeway Community Church on St Mary’s Street in Wallingford, the food bank covers a wide area from Berinsfield to Watlington, Chalgrove to Woodcote and Goring and Streatley.

Run entirely by volunteers, the charity is reliant on direct donations of food from the public, schools, churches and businesses and is a much-needed safety net for many local families.
